Cisco and its partners use the Webex platform to help courts and justice agencies keep cases moving while improving efficiency and access.
Virtual hearings and docket management
The Connects solution from partner Cloverhound builds on Webex Meetings to streamline the hearing process:
- Participants (claimants, attorneys, witnesses) join by entering a hearing number and checking in virtually.
- They are placed in a secure waiting room until the court is ready.
- Evidence can be uploaded digitally.
- Attorneys and clients can hold private chats before or during proceedings.
This solution is designed to make the virtual check-in and docket process more seamless and secure, and is available on the Cisco Global Price List in the US and Canada.
Reimagining rehabilitation and supervision
Partner TRACKTech uses Webex to support community monitoring and rehabilitative services:
- Supervision officers can conduct virtual home visits, which increases the number of cases they can manage.
- Contactless rehabilitative support allows officers to meet with up to three times as many clients per day.
- The solution supports remote check-ins, dynamic geofencing, and access to behavioral health resources.
- Individuals re-entering the community can stay connected to employment, housing, and other support resources.
Because these solutions run on the Webex platform, they benefit from strong data protection, privacy, and reliable connectivity—important for courts, federal agencies, states, districts, and private organizations in the criminal justice space.
